It has been a long time!

The Events since I last seen you:

Andy Graduates in December 2008, after a five year struggle of working full time, being a parent, grandparent and student, Andy finishs it with an Individualized BA, stating a BA in "Community Development with an emphasis towards Education and History".

Mo, Bruce Holtzschuh, and myself after the Graduation:

In March Andy, Tula, Vanessa, Adam, Mary and Beth journeyed south to Las Vegas, Nevada. We went all the way to Nevada to listen to Louie Anderson! Go figure.

Left to Right: Andy, Vanessa, Tula, Louie Anderson, Adam, Beth and Mary. (Sunday March 9th at the Excalibur in Las Vegas).
2009 has been fun so far. Vanessa, Charlie and the two kids live NE Minneapolis. Adam is just a short jaunt away, and Mary is in Eagan most of the time. Beth is still at home but is looking at alternatives.
I will end here, I am sure the heart attacks of some about me being back have started. So I don't want to aggravate the situation. More soon.

It's been a while

Lets see, since I was last here, I have been to Sylvia's, too Duluth, re-started school, had my computer crash, recovered most of the damage, and made it through 6 weeks of school!

I have had the privalege of watching the next generation partake in a game I started with my kids in 1983, enjoy.

More old Photos

Tom E and G. L. Miller in the 70's.

Far Left: My mother's oldest son, and his eldest daughter, and my Father's oldest son and his youngest. Far Right: Andy gets a lesson, the only person to beat me continually at this game.
Who is my opponent? Not pictured
John, Betty, Tom, George R.

Remembrance of a time past. I feel it fitting to do this on a day that we honor Memorial Day, and my father would always be found at the Family Gravesite in his home town.

Well, I am still not done with the basement and I have work to finish, off too it. This should be a wonderful day.

Mother's Day in Cumberland

Mark and Tula

I don't think I need to explain this action!

Mark and Andy

Mark and Don cruising the streets of Cumberland

Mark brought out the recumbent tandem, and yes we did go for a ride. It was a fairly good day as Mother's Day goes in my family. The kids had Saturday with Mom and we journey to Cumberland on Sunday, it was also John's 56th birthday and the first in many years without Mary Kay. :(

Life continues on without ahold lot of changes, I am nearing graduation and have re-entered the job market looking for a job in Counseling or Advising at the Post Secondary level. We will see what that brings me. Right now with out the degree I am limited to Community Colleges.

We have a major bike ride planned on Sunday with Mark and Peggy doing the mini Grand Round. I am out of town next week with a work conference in Alexandria on my Birthday, that will be a new experience.

Well it's been awhile and I had some time wanted to touch base. Hope to see you all over the summer.
