Only a 3 week delay

Things are getting better it didn't take so long this time.
Life hasn't been all that different, the weather changes were beautiful last week, this week not so much. Last weekend the grandkids were over as is shown by the pictures this week. This weekend I seen Tula off to Duluth for a conference about 1/2 hour ago, that would make it about 6:45. There has to be something in the spousal handbook about doing cruel and unforgiven things to one's self in the name of matrimony. LOL! Well one paper to do, 1 week to do it, and I am down to 4 classes. The countdown is on. Mark has is custudy hearing on Monday, and yes now she has decided to fight it. It doesn't seem logical but hey thats the norm when we talk about custody cases. They don't seem to always be logical and sometimes even fair. We will wait on this however if I was a betting man, not much is going to change from present, the two Mark's will remain together.

Well, I will cut this short. I have two days without my spousal units, some things I need to know. Look for me next weekend. I have a engagement with Ness and family on Monday at the new Porky's tomorrow, that should be fun.

Wow! was that a long absence!

Too all of you who read this sorry about the absence, but if you know me, you know why.

It is a beautiful day out today, and a walk brought T and I to the Falls, another huge surprise, right.:)We walked by Gunner, one of Tula's favorite stops now that she knows she can google him. LOL!

Life has been good, Charlie got a full-time job in Jordan and Ness got accepted to Metro State and is returning to school to chase a Marketing Degree with and Advertising minor. Adam shows up every other weekend or so, he keeps himself busy and out of trouble. Mary (we know her as Kate) is going after her paralegal certificate and is working at Ann Taylors loft at the Mall. There is a new boyfreind in the mix, but we will talk about him at a later date. Beth is my baby and is nearing a Psych degree at Metro with a Woman's Study and Human Service minor. If all goes well I will walk it looks like now in December. This was a hard semester and I back of to two classes. Tula keeps it all together, that is why I refer to her as Saint Rosemary.

Well that is the update for now. I will try to keep a little more current.

Jack's 1st Birthday!

What a week! Jack turn 1 on the 1st. I found a new chess web site I really like. Chess Maniac it's in my favorite links.

Anyhow back to Jack, construction hats were the theme, model by Tula and Tyson. Charlie is holding Oscar their new puppy. (he is suppose to be Abby's) Jack liked the cake, and Big sister gave the aid to blowing out the candle.

This one is short and sweet and I am off to bed.

Happy Birthday Dad

He would have been 99 today. I will refrain from a tribute, since TT did such a banner job of it on Wednesday.

All I can say here, is he had a huge factor in who I am today, and to that I say thank you.

He died to young, that much I know and he left a large void in my life. He is missed often as well as remembered. Today Sir, I tip the hat to you, kiss the blarmey stone in remembrance of many lessons taught and stories told of life in another time and smile at the memories that I hold close to my heart.

Today is Saturday and we are off on a new kind of journey, it seems like there is always something to do and never enough hours in a day. I however smile at the thought of family and freinds and I am thankful of my time here on earth with all of you.

Wednesday the 23rd

Life continues on, it is back to school and the hectic pace that being a full-time employee and full time student brings.

Abby and Ness sound excited about the new arrival to their family, go figure my daughter gets nutzoid about a weiner dog.

Mark called today, apparently being a full-time father agrees with him. Little Mark seems to have taken the life at Century Jr High in stride. It seems to be working well for him, and if you caught Peg's comment on Sunday they are getting on well at the house.

Well this looks like I will be headed back to weekends on this one. I am hopeful that I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Right now it is looking like a summer graduation and I am contemplating going part-time next year and picking up a foriegn language before Grad School. I still have some time to think about that.

Well, I have some homework to do, so this does it for tonight.
